WHAT IS A MANDALA?
The word mandala, is Sanskrit for “circle”. It is a geometric design that holds a great deal of symbolism in Hindu and Buddhist cultures. Mandalas are inherently found in nature in forms such as seashells, birds’ nests, fruits and flowers.
Painting a mandala aids in enhancing focus, silencing thoughts, combatting stress and anxiety, and forming a greater sense of connection with yourself and the universe.
The mandala that you paint could symbolise something that you want to achieve in life. It also has the potential to change how we see ourselves and our purpose.
