From 2001 to 2012, he was General Manager, Marketing for the Australian retail brand, Target, where he was a key leader in returning Target to profitability from an $80m loss to $400m profit in five years.

He re-launched the Target retail brand in 2002 achieving Australia’s 2nd most-loved retail brand ranking and created a piece of Aussie retail history with the introduction of the ‘Designers for Target’ program, which included Stella McCartney, Zac Posen, Missoni , Collette Dinnigan, Dita Von Teese and many other renowned fashion designers.

He has held leadership roles in helping launch the Fly Buys loyalty program; integrating Fossey’s into Target Country; and managing Coles Myer’s master media buying negotiations.

Being an artist means being in your own head...a lot. So with Mind Gallery, it’s awesome to get into other peoples heads for a change! It’s rewarding to help people break their barriers, get creative, and achieve more than they ever thought possible. The experience extends beyond the workshops – Mind Gallery is a fantastically fun group to be involved with!

I decided to become an artist when my Mum showed me a bust of my grandfather she had made, and I was inspired by the way art could convey life. I like skill sharing with people and Mind Gallery is a great medium to do this. The most inspiring part of working with the Mind Gallery is when Trish gets fabulous and the excitement in peoples eyes when they are about to paint.
